My name is Dawn Lowry, and I am proud to be the Headteacher of the newly formed Yeadon Primary School.
This is an exciting time for our children, families and staff as we bring together two schools with long-standing reputations for excellence within the local community. By combining the very best aspects of both schools, we are creating one exceptional primary school where every child can thrive.
At Yeadon Primary School, we are committed to providing the highest quality education and ensuring that every child receives the very best start in life. Our dedicated staff work closely with children, parents and carers to create a nurturing, inspiring and ambitious learning environment in which everyone feels valued, supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
We believe that education is about much more than academic success. We strive to develop confident, resilient and compassionate young people who are equipped with the skills, knowledge and values they need to succeed in an ever-changing world. We want our children to dream big, believe in themselves and leave us ready to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.
We are incredibly proud of our school community and the strong partnerships we have with our families. Together, we will ensure that every child is encouraged to be the very best they can be.
Whether you are a current member of our community or considering joining us, we warmly welcome you to Yeadon Primary School and look forward to sharing our exciting journey with you.

Attendance
We aim for all children to achieve at least 97% attendance. This means that children should only be absent from school when they are too ill to attend.
Please make all medical appointments outside of the school day wherever possible and please do not book family holidays in term time. Our term dates are available in the ‘Parents and Carers’ section of our website.
Please report all sickness absences to the school office before 8:30 am. You can telephone 0113 2503395. Absences can also be reported via our School Spider app. If your child has sickness or diarrhoea they must be kept off school for 48 hours after the last bout of illness.
